I'm back🙃 and musing about missing ducks in rows...

Hello again, Reader, I've missed you🙃

I've taken some time away from sending this newsletter and posting on social media because all the moving and readjusting to a new life this summer seems to have scattered my ducks and it's taken some time to get them back in a row.

The more I try to gather them, the more I find they've come back just a little altered--some a little ruffled, some twinkled by new fancies, and others just...lost. And while the tired, confused, and concerned about missing metaphorical ducks me would prefer to stay paused and quiet until I'm all gathered, the humbled and creatively curious me knows that now is a wonderful time to come back to cultivating creativity in the everyday with you, whether it's "perfect" or not.

So, here I am, this time trying out this newsletter in a bit of a new way! I used to send different kinds of emails each week on different days focused on varying aspects of my creative practice (sharing creative inspiration, work updates, art tips and tricks, etc.). I'm still going to share those things, but I'm trying out curating them into one email each week for simplicity's sake😌
From here on (until the tickle for change comes along again), I'll use this opening space for Artsy Musings and Meanderings (similar to Wonders-day creative inspiration) and then jump into segments for Studio Tidings (brief peeks into what I'm working on, playing with to keep my creativity sparked, + news about my work in the wild), Creative Inspiration (snippets of creative things that inspire me like quotes, art analysis, beautiful videos, etc.), and an occasional playlist share and/or call to action when I'd love your input😄
